The Online Payment System allows users to pay citations and court costs with a credit card on a website. This is designed to be revenue neutral to the governments that want to accept credit cards for payment. A user fee is paid by the defendant in addition to the total fine collected.

Payments received through the Online Citation Payment System are disbursed through the Driver Education Institute in Mobile, AL. The fee (paid by the defendant) defrays all costs including;
• credit card transaction fees
• membership fees
• monthly service charges
• computer support

The Online Payment System is available in different formats to meet the needs of your organization. Our system is designed so that the defendant can provide all the ticket information to the website or court personnel can easily enter key citation information allowing users to retrieve the citation to be paid.

The Online Payment System can also be setup to read ticket and court information from your existing computer network to automate the data entry process. This option requires integration of your existing network with out payment solution. There may be additional costs incurred due to the labor intensive nature of systems integration.
